A little scoop hand carved from Gaboon ebony. I have had the little chunk of wood for this scoop sitting around my wood shop for years. so, when I came across it for probably the one hundredth time, I decided to finally make something out of it.
Strong and dense Gaboon ebony is famous for its jet-black color. but it can also have streaks of dark brown. this piece has a 50/50 mix of the two colors throughout. except the rim of the bowl, which is jet black.
Measures 5-3/4 inches long and holds just under 1-Tbsp
