I carved this cooker in Bocote wood. known for its distinctive grain patterns and natural strength. Bocote not only looks great, but I made this one to be a great heavy-duty cooker. I curved the bowl and left it and the handle a bit on the thicker side. so, no fear in putting this one to use in your kitchen.
